Pergola® brings architectural scale to freestanding space creation, giving organizations a flexible way to define destinations without the permanence or complexity of construction. Pergola supports a broad spectrum of open and semi-open environments. Designers begin with frames and enhance the space with tiles, ceiling components, lighting, power, curtains, glass, slats, and accessories. Pergola is a flexible freestanding platform that is efficient to specify, install, and reconfigure.

Space Frame

Architectural in scale and durability
8’ frame height
Unit scales in increments of 2’ up to 12’
Prepped for tiles and inserts for easy installation

Post & Beam

Posts contain attachment points or channels that connect to top rails at 90°
2-Way, 3-Way, and 4-Way posts run from the floor and attach flush to the top rail

Ceiling Slats

Slats attach to top rail at each end
Slats are spaced at a minimum of 6” apart to meet NFPA guidelines
Ceiling slats can be oriented in either direction

Ease of Installation

Top rails attach to posts with simple but durable connection brackets
Additional connection components available for stability against structural and seismic forces when required

Future Reconfiguration

Aluminum channel caps seamlessly close off channels not in use
Caps may be used in both vertical and horizontal applications
Channel cap design allows easy future reconfiguration

Code Compliant

Seismic ready with streamlined cover bracket for floor anchors

Tiles & Inserts

Tiles and inserts give Pergola its range of enclosure, expression, and performance. High-performing vertical surfaces, including tiles and glass inserts, delineate space while creating varying degrees of privacy, openness, and acoustic comfort.

Further enhance the space with laminate or painted vertical slats, drapery, and other expressive infill elements. These additions create a stronger sense of visual privacy while preserving access to natural light, sight lines, and connection to the surrounding environment.

Glass

Glass panes are secured within channels of top and bottom rail
Provide access to visible daylight
Apply film for added privacy or branding purposes

Mixing Tiles

Select from various material-types to include on a single wall span
Leverage vertical and horizontal tiles together

Opaque and sheer options
Standard drapery provides fullness and spacing proportioned to the product to ensure a perfect pleat

Laminate Vertical Slats

The profile provides a sculptural feel
Choice of ply-edge or color
Installed at a 90° visual angle
Slats spaced 6” apart on center

Painted Vertical Slats

Powder coated aluminum
Choice of slat orientation for different levels of privacy
Installed at 45°, 90° or 135° visual angle
Slats spaced 8” apart on center

Light Trough

The light trough conceals electrical, hardware, and attachments from above to drop pendant lighting into a space
May be used with or without ceiling slats
When used with ceiling slate, the light trough is placed between two slats

Single and double-sided spanning surface
Attaches to the top of the tile-insert rail
Spans post-to-post
Available in solid and wood grain laminate

Accessory Tray

Mounts directly into reveal
Available in painted metal or laminate in various lengths

Tech Tower

A proud-mounted electrical system that accommodates utility power devices, low voltage, and audio/visual cables
Available in seated and standing heights

Two wall outlets on a gray wall with one having Ethernet ports.

Power/Data Tile Integration

Prewired 15 Amp decora-style conventional device with quick connect feed
Tiles come prepped to easily accommodate electrical devices onsite
Switches, data ports, and other devices can be installed by qualified trades
For prewired tiles, select from multiple heights and horizontal locations across the tiles

Infeed Options

Wire the Pergola via bottom or top feed options
Cutouts in the framing allow for wiring to run through the tile cavity
Coordination may be required with trades and local authority

Electrical & Data Routing

Cabling routed throughout Pergola with the use of access cutouts in the top rail
Cabling routes up and over the top joint assembly and around the corners
Optional covers secure cables in place and conceal them from view

Light Trough Integration

Attach lighting to the underside of the light trough
Two prep locations per trough
Maximum weight of singular light is 50 lbs

Monitor Mount

Haworth-supplied or third-party monitor mounts can be fixed directly onto the tiles with proper plywood backing
Mount has vertical adjustment to accommodate independent monitor height

Pergola delivers the presence and performance of architectural space through a freestanding, reconfigurable system. A coordinated kit of parts–combined with tested standards—supports space definition, comfort, and flexibility while offering an efficient alternative to traditional construction.

Acoustics

Pergola is designed to be a visually private space, not an acoustically private solution. Consider adding PET or other absorptive products, like rugs, to enhance the acoustic properties
