Hushfree Access M creates a more accessible acoustic environment for private work, meetings, and conversations within the open workplace. Designed with ADA compliance in mind, the pod features a zero threshold and wider door for easier entry and use for people with disabilities, while still delivering the acoustic privacy and comfort expected from the Hushfree family.

With space for one to four people and a customizable interior, Hushfree Access M offers a flexible alternative to traditional enclosed rooms. It gives organizations a more inclusive way to create privacy, support collaboration, and provide people with a quiet, comfortable place to meet, focus, or connect.

Features

Hushfree Access M makes acoustic privacy more accessible, flexible, and inclusive within the open floorplate. Its low threshold, wider door, and easy-opening handle support more comfortable entry and use for people with disabilities, while its acoustic construction protects conversations inside and reduces noise from the surrounding environment. Inside the pod, customizable configurations can support one to four people for private work, meetings, hybrid conversations, or creative collaboration.

Adjustable Lighting

User-adjustable overhead lighting allows occupants to fine-tune the pod environment, with light levels ranging from 300–700 lux and color temperature adjustable from 2200–6500 kelvin.

Premium Acoustics

Multi-layered acoustic materials and acoustically laminated glass provide more than 26 dB of sound level reduction, helping protect speech privacy inside the pod while reducing outside noise.

Flexible Furniture

Hushfree Access M can be furnished with flexible, freestanding furniture that can be swapped in or out as work modes, team needs, or organizational priorities change over time.

Sprinkler & Alarm Cutouts

Two sprinkler cutouts and two alarm cutouts provide straightforward integration points for sprinklers or audio alarms, supporting jurisdiction-specific requirements.

Seismic Anchoring

Included anchoring points support installation in seismic zones, helping the pod meet location-specific planning and safety requirements.

Zero Threshold & Wheelchair Accessible

The Hushfree Access M has a 0.02” threshold, removing the need to step up into the pod and allowing it to be wheelchair-accessible and ADA-compliant depending on how the pod is furnished.

HushAssistant

A central touchscreen allows users to adjust lighting and ventilation while also displaying the time. When connected to the internet, HushAssistant can also support bookable spaces within an organization.

Ventilation

Four near-silent fans refresh the air inside the pod every 63 seconds, helping maintain a comfortable environment for focused work and small group collaboration.
